Ka Tyeleo is one of the creation deities of the Senufo tribe in Mali and Cote d'Ivoire. Ka Tyeleo was primarily involved in the creation of fruit trees, making him/her (a sexless being) very important to a people that inhabited very arid regions of Africa. I designed the deity wearing a "Kpeli-yehe" mask inspired by the many beautiful carvings the Senufo use in their societal ceremonies. The figure is an actual cornucopia, sprouting fruits from its body. Vegetation incarnate!
The Gildan 5000 Classic Tee gives a structured look that elevates the basic t-shirt. Its sturdy cotton fabric keeps edges crisp, holds shape through repeated washes, and layers perfectly for streetwear looks.
