The Rat Pack series depicts interesting people doing exciting things all in the form of anthropomorphized rodents. I choose to use rodents because I want a jarring image to place in the exciting or adventurous settings. I don't want human features to detract from the activities depicted and I want to establish a kind of kinship between the characters.
The name Rat Pack is inspired by the Frank Sinatra led group of socialites and their rebellion against societal norms.
Each character is named after a type of cheese; a nod to the 'Tom and Jerry' cartoons I grew up watching.
All designs are hand drawn...because I like to keep things basic.
