Who knew that the softest hoodie you'll ever own comes with such a cool design. You won't regret buying this classic streetwear piece of apparel with a convenient pouch pocket and warm hood for chilly evenings.
A major Yoruba water deity, an orisha and the mother of all orishas, having given birth to the 14 Yoruba gods and goddesses. In the Afrocuban diaspora she is associated with Virgin Mary Catholic figures, a practice that emerged during the era of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Yemoja was motherly and strongly protective, not easily annoyed, but when angered she could be quite destructive and violent, as the flood waters of turbulent rivers. She was said to govern all things pertaining to women and is associated with the moon, water, and feminine mysteries. She also represented wealth so I draped her in cowrie shells, which were used as currency, and precious stones.
She was associated with mermaids so her attendants are based on my "Mami Wata" artwork.
Disclaimer: This hoodie runs small. For the perfect fit, we recommend ordering one size larger than your usual size.
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
