AFRIKKAN PANTHEON (AFRICAN GODS) Collection

There is a vast African pantheon.  It is wide, rich, steeped in the lives of the people.  Surely the African pantheon is suitable for the same analysis given to its European counterparts?  Well...yes...and no.

There is no African pantheon, just as there is no Africa.  There are the people whose traditional beliefs have been subjected to domination by European colonial influences, Arab Islamic expansionism and inter-tribal conflicts; the latter no different from the societal forces that shaped and are shaping Europe, but somehow always portrayed a little more negatively.

My Afrikkan Pantheon graphics series is a humble attempt to exhibit the diversity of the many cultures that make up the continent.
